Some flowers and bright colors!

So well, I've been up to alot this summer and autumn - of course!

Sorry to say that I'm not currently caring for Caesar, the beautiful fawn great dane gentleman. Our scheduals unfortunaly didn't match any more. But I'll probably see him sometimes anyway.

I've also gotten a little cutie pie named Zelda to care for, she's a brindle french bulldog (although she barely has any stripes, just a couple here and there - mostly just a wonderful, almost black, slightly walnutty color) and she's only 1,5 years old! Such a little darling!This is her, tucked under the covers with her latest cat friend Eskil! And this is from the last time I had Caesar:

Also I've been living with (directly translated) The Fluffy Family. It consists of 2 cats and 2 afghan hounds + 1 human, usually Marina. But she took a job on a luxury cruise in amsterdam and was away 2 weeks at a time. So then I'd just step in as the human in the family and live with them until Marina got back. There's Eskil the Cornish Rex and Iris the Ragdoll-mix, Smilla and Haley the afghan hounds.

For now though, I wont be staying with The Fluffy Family for a while - probably. We'll see!

I also just meet a 7 month old curly coated retriever puppy. His name is Eddie and he's the gentlest, cosiest little pup I've ever met! More about him in a while.

It's been a while

I haven't updated here for quite some time. Mostly because I got a bit down with not getting my puppie and breaking up with my former boyfriend.

I think my blog needs a new cheerie design and I might expand it to include a bit more of myself and not only about dogs - but since my life is alot about dogs there should be no shortage!

I'll update you a bit about my life in a little while!

Sad

is what I am today. Today I broke up with my boyfriend of whom I'd been with for over 1,5 years now and known since I was 12. Because of that I also had to call off my beloved puppy. Today is a sad, sad day. Hopefully tomorrow is brighter. I'm off to work soon.

Not about my pup!

Today Frans and Lizzy met each other. There were some discussion and secrets exchanged first, but then they were the 'bestest' playmates in the world.


Isn't it fantastic that sometimes they just get along really, really well? and not just tolerate each other.

Daddy Glen

Loads of..

.. responsability. Is what I'm getting with my puppie. Fyi, my entire childhood was a complete mess - and that left me with no rutines at all.

I even have a hard time brushing my teeth every day. That's how low I am on rutines. And a puppy will definatly be some new rutines - but them I'm thrilled over.

The rutines I'm talking about is my dad's conditions for letting me live here with a dog. One is quite simple - like cleaning the floors every day. Because he's mildly allergic. But just because he had leverage he pushed a complete 13 rutines.

It is normal rutines - but giving me 13 rutines to just nail, is kind of heavy - dontcha think?

I will do my best, of course, because of the puppie. Then of course, learning to become independent and taking care of an apartment and myself is good too.

I can't wait to reap the lovely fruit of my labour - My pup.

I love how you can already spot the wrinkles on her forhead! And here's a mini-serie for you. The slow yawn and the stretch: Isn't she cute as a button?

Mommy

So this is my puppies mom, Svea. Before, Sweden/Sverige was called "Svea Rike", and that's her name. Svea.

Isn't she pretty? I snagged it from my breeders facebook - hope that's ok!

Gives us an idea of what my puppy might look like when she's 1 year, too. (that's how old Svea is on this picture.)

I found three new favorites, quite exotic ones.

Nayeli - I love you / Native American
Aiko - Loving Child / Japanese
Naira - Big Eyes / Native American

I'm guessing there's more to find on the web.

I'm also GREATLY honoured. My Breeder asked me if I wanted to take part in naming the pup, it's official name. I might even play a little part in the other puppies names too, if I come up with some great ones.

I wonder...

I had the thought that maybe I should get Little Miss Cutie Tail (Lilla Fröken Sötsvans) a blog of her own.. Because you see, this one says "please be mine soon", and she really is! 13th of august is the set date.

But this one is already established, kind of.

Ah, we'll see.

Glad Midsommar, Everybody!

Glad midsommar = Happy mid summer. In sweden it's a big thing... Very savage, actually. Me and my family were thinking about names for the puppy - and we thought of "Hassel".. meaning Hazel. Either one is pretty, I think. :)

Oh, and btw...

It's final. This is my puppy, and in august she'll move Home!


The breeder will update me with photos as time passes, and I will update you!

Latest names...

I went through the swedish calendar and found a new bunch of names: Irmelin, Sonja, Aurora, Hedvig, Viola and Elsa. Of course, if you read them in english - that's not how they're gonna sound. But you can have an opinion anyway. Swedish is a bit strange to pronounce... :) Maybe I can make a recording of my voice, to show you how they'll sound!

So it's almost decided. All that I'm waiting for now is my dad's approval. Not to buy her, but to be able to live here... Actually I'm pretty sure he's gonna say yes, because he wouldn't destroy my dream. He just need some sleep :)

Update on the puppy thoughts

It actually looks like I will be getting my own fawn great dane in august. Isn't that crazy? I've done the math and I can totally make it work both training wise and economically.

Also, about the diet I will be feeding her "färskfoder" which is basically raw, ground up meat with some vitamins and minerals added and I'll give her some knuckle bones/marrow bones for teeth cleaning. I might throw in some chicken carass since she's already on a raw diet for some recreational chewing, tearing and a snack.

A dream coming true, ladies and gentlemen.

I've also been invited to meet the pups when they're 4-5 weeks. :)

I'll update you soon - hopefully with some pictures of my new born, future pup.
